2018 Fall Grants Awarded

We pledge to invest 10% of our profits in Jackson Parish and the surrounding areas to create opportunities for our customers and area citizens thus becoming a preferred banking partner.  

Pledge 10 seeks to promote four specific areas of focus within the bank’s geographic vicinity: Education, Youth Development, Financial Literacy, and Community Enrichment.  Pledge 10 is an expression of the promise we make to our customers and community.  Below are the grants awarded for Fall 2018.

Jonesboro Hodge Middle School: $4,575

JH-MS will use these funds to invest in athletic equipment and physical education supplies.

Ruston Community Theatre: $8,500

RCT's summer youth musical is a must see, and once again JSB is thrilled to be the costume and production sponsor.

Winnfield Senior High School: $5,000

These funds will be used to liven up the library with new furniture.

Catholic Charities of North Louisiana: $5,100

CCNLA's Money School will provide financial literacy and assistance to citizens in our service area.

La. United Methodist Children's Home OWL Center: $7,000

The OWL Equine Center will provide therapeutic riding lessons to handicapped children from Jackson and Lincoln Parish.

Quitman High School: $4,125

These funds will be used to implement a positive behavior program with the goal of improving student success and development.

West High School: $5,400

These funds will be used on renovations to the school's baseball facility.

The Bridge Community Church: $7,000

These funds will be used to help develop The Bridge's Third Space ministry.  This ministry seeks to address both the physical and emotional needs of vulnerable people in our service area.

Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District #1: $5,000

These funds will be used to purchase a special washing machine to protect firefighters against life threatening hazardous materials that gather in the firefighter's gear.

Quitman High School: $3,000

These funds will be used on renovations to the school's baseball facility.

Jackson Parish Recreation District: $3,500

These funds will be used to purchase a ball machine to help build the tennis program in Jackson Parish.
